Cowboy WILL

The Will. Schopenhauer's over-the-top caricature had a fertile seed in its development if not taken literally (The World As Will and Representation). Here we discover Cowboy Will, A decidedly Americanized manifestation of the brute compulsion To Be, and specifically To-Be-At-The-Expense-of-Others. It's a zero sum game for this Cowboy. He deserves his bounty, which, by the way, is booty. It takes a Greek Tragedy to recognize the mistake, but it's too late for Death-By-Chocolate. The poor lad fell in love and immersed himself head to toe in desire. Now he's been cut to pieces by a Goddess who is taken by the same desire. Desire and Will, they somehow go together, don't they?
